Immaculée Ilibagiza

Early Tuesday afternoon, October 15th, Immaculée Ilibagiza arrived in Mobile for her appearance at Spring Hill College that evening. Her talk was preceded by a reception at the student center for those who generously helped to sponsor her visit. During the reception they had an opportunity to meet Immaculée personally and also to meet others who are working to support our capital campaign. Exceeding earlier expectations, there were close to a thousand people attending her talk at the Arthur R. Outlaw Recreational Center.

The next morning, before her departure, Immaculée graciously made time to visit the monastery to greet the sisters and a number of volunteers, and to tour the retreat facilities. Friends of the community generously prepared light, but most elegant and appealing refreshments for this reception.
