The 86th annual novena to the Sacred Heart of Jesus was held June 23rd through July 1st. Monseigneur Warren Wall, pastor of St. Mary's Church, talked about the need to be aware of Satan's influence and activities in the world and in the Church. One of his tactics is to persuade us to believe he doesn't exist. Father presented devotion to the Sacred Heart as a means of overcoming Satan's deceits by making us more aware of God's love and mercy for us.
